 Procedure Information

A completely non-invasive procedure that uses Functional Magnetic Stimulation (FMS). FMS is a device that stimulates deep muscle tissue in the pelvic floor to contract, resulting in an increased strength and endurance of pelvic region and pelvic floor muscles.

Backed by clinical trials the use of FMS demonstrates that up to 90% of women suffering from postnatal urinary incontinence were relieved of their symptoms after our treatment. The remaining 10% saw a significant improvement.

Patients are seated and fully clothed when being treated in the FMS TESLAChair device. The therapy is non-invasive, painless and without any known side effects, this is particularly attractive to patients who are keen to avoid the risks and downtime associated with surgery. The treatment is suitable for patients who cannot undergo electrotherapy. FMS has been shown to be a very effective solution where physiotherapy has failed.
